smart D-Dimer Test
Summary
Elevated levels are found in patients with confirmed deep venous thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), DIC, and trauma. D-Dimer levels rise during pregnancy and high levels are associated with complications.
Methode Analytical Range
A monoclonal anti D-Dimer antibody coupled to latex particles forms high molecular weight immunocomplexes with D-Dimer in the test sample. The resulting change in turbidity of the sample is detected photometrically by turbidimetric analysers.
Plasma: 85 - 3000 ng/ml (LOT specific)
Assay principle
Kinetic measurement of the D-Dimer concentration at 700nm (absorbance)
Test Duration
Test duration takes approx. 8 minutes
