solo Fibrinogen Test
Summary
The smart fibrinogen test is intended for the quantitative determination of fibrinogen by immunoturbidimetric assay. The fibrinogen antibody interacts with the fibrinogen in the plasma forming immune complexes. The immune complexes cause an increase in light scattering, which correlates with the concentration of plasma fibrinogen.
Methode Measurement Range
Immunoturbidimetric assay measured at 340 nm.
Plasma: 1,0 - 15,7 g/l (100 - 1570 mg/dl)
Sample Material
Plasma is required for this assay. Collect blood in a tube containing sodium citrate. EDTA up to 500 mg/dl or heparin can also be used. Immediately after collection, centrifuge samples and remove plasma from cells.
Test Duration
Test duration takes approx. 8 minutes.
